http://www.softlightstock.comOctober 14, 2013 at 4:27 pm #4674I have been having problems as well today Steve – just had your white screen problem as well.
Go to either cPanel or your ftp and Delete symbiostock (not childtheme just the parent) = it will probably be in
public-html/wp_content/themesThen log into your site again and reinstall. You are probably best trying with 2.8 again as I imagine there will come a time when we have little choice

http://www.softlightstock.comOctober 14, 2013 at 8:32 pm #4679I simply would like to know what you did to break it! Did you click a big red button that says “Self destruct”?
Its fine to roll back, but I’d like to isolate the issue while we’re in beta on this version.
October 14, 2013 at 8:39 pm #4680All I did was download the latest version
Zip it
uploaded it via the Install Themes in my WP-Admin area
Activated it
And every thing went southI tried deleting it from my Bluehost cpanel which got be back into my dashboard
Uploaded the theme into my site via file manager on Bluehost same results. And I cannot make any version work.

I GOT IT! I figured out what was happening to you.
Your “trashed” theme says:
Name Description
__MACOSX Stylesheet is missing. When you “unzip” it your taking some of the OS archives with it…
The best way to install a theme is to simply take the zip (unzipped) and upload it here:
October 15, 2013 at 2:10 am #4683I don’t even know where that came from. Should I just delete it.

October 15, 2013 at 2:38 am #4685Thanks
I think I have everything back to the way it was.Now I just need to sort out creating a sub domain and making a test site so I can eventually move to the next version.
