I don’t know what came over me but I tried to upgrade to 2.7.*

The theme shows up on my site under Themes but once I activate it I just get a white screen or
Sometimes this:

Tried loading it in my BlueHost CP – same results

Now i have nothing – can’t revert to 2.6.5 or any version.

Suggestions.
Because I’m lost.

Somehow that got changed! (Two slashes in bold)

I looked into it. FIRST – there is this

http://softlightstock.com/wp-login.php

Go into there and delete any occurrence of the Symbiostock theme (the green dotted one, not child themes)

Replace it with this:

https://github.com/orangeman555/symbiostock/blob/metamorphosis/symbiostock.zip

The error:

/home8/softligh/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock-1/functions.php

The folder name has changed, whereas its trying to find:

/home8/softligh/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/network-manager//network-manager.php

Uploading the theme from the link posted above should fix things.

And I’m not sure about the home page. I’ll need to play with it.

Somehow your theme folder name got changed.

There’s a new feature which makes very standard/clean homepage: http://softlightstock.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=ss-home-page-menu-generator

Basically it highly inflexible, taking full creative control away, giving you a very straightforward and easily deployed front page. I made it for people who are not experts or don’t have time for homepage creation. Otherwise have fun as usual. Generally the looks of the theme are much cleaner.

Another thing to note is that you could possibly simplify your menus a bit. Customer Area is not needed, since the cart button leads there.

I was thinking I’d make a “pretty categories” template that display random images from categories in a list, so people don’t have to weigh down their menus with every possible destination. I get the impression people are improvising a lot.

I will have to figure out how to set up a test site for the new version because I don’t think out of the box I’m gonna like it.

Apparently I don’t know what I’m doing.
All I did was try to up load the old theme and install it.

Bet if I try to do it again I break it.

But I need to roll back for now.

Delete the symbiostock folder from the themes and then resinstall the latest version.

/www/wp-content/themes/symbiostock

You can back it up first if you want, its only around 4mb.
