I’m wondering if we can benefit from the new Google Image Search filters by marking our images somehow as “labeled for commercial reuse”.
I’m sure there is a way to dot that.

I think what they mean by this is labeled for commercial reuse without paying. Look at the way the rights are spelled out in the drop down list on the advanced search page

I don’t want my images labeled as free to use 🙂
As long as there is a well visible watermark on the image, I think they will click through to the page and will see how they can commercially use the image.

I’m going to watch the video, but I think it would be a mistake to label images as free to reuse in markup and then try to license them for money.
You’re right, I just noticed it states “free” reuse. Under these circumstances it won’t make sense, you might even get punished if you try to “misuse” it.
