This is a funny little bug. If you look at one of my images – eg: http://www.backyardstockphotos.com/image/film-strip-of-washington-dc-sights-2/
And then click the Info box against my headshot, all the links work as they should, but the Contact link says “Contact Leo” instead of “Contact Steve”
Anyone know where that little setting can be found in the admin pages?
Steve
I think someone else found that they still had Leo as admin when this happened
http://kerioakimaging.com - trying to reopen
http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail Art
xxx/wp-admin/profile.php
You need to fill in the first name (in my case) or in yours apparently put your name vs. Leo’s! No idea why things were done this way, but I hadn’t filled in first or last name on that page (it’s your general WP Profile – Users -> Your Profile)
It really is funny – if you look at the text if you hover over the wrongly named “Contact Leo” it says correctly “Contact Steve Heap”!
The two strings used are symbiostock_display_name (correct) and symbiostock_first_name (wrong).
- <a itemprop="" class="symbiostock_contact_author contact author ssref" title="Contact " href=""> Contact
I dont have that link at all, how do you get that?
From the main WP left navigation bar, Users->Your Profile
Got it, added and it says Contact Ronald. All done. 🙂 Thank you.
The fix turned out to be removing Leo as an admin. My user profile was OK, but for some reason the system was picking up Leo’s admin account for that link.
Fixed.
