where is the anchor text for … website.com/images/ .. being set to “Symbiostock Images” ? I want to make this a bit more SEO friendly.
I think you’re asking about the /image/ (singular) page that has a title of Symbiostock Images Archive – site name?
That’s coming from Yoast’s plugin – SEO => Titles & Metas. I’ve not looked at change the templates there for custom post types, but I’d keep a copy of the current string in case 🙂
Edited to add that I just changed mine to say “digital bristles images and illustrations”, where I used the %%sitename%% token rather than typing in the site name.

Any suggestions on what you think would be SEO friendly?
And for Leo, a question on how the token %%pt_plural%% gets to map to “Symbiostock Image”
Thanks JoAnn 😀 .. I never thought to look in Yoast for a breadcrumb setting in that location .. I can’t say I’ve ever seen yoast react to a theme and give that option .. pretty cool.
I’m changing my breadcrumb to Stock Photos for optimization but that alone probably won’t do much good .. to make it work is going to require some code changes to that /image/ page .. I haven’t even looked to see which .php it is yet .. but the way it generates ALT tags needs changed and then going to need to find a creative way to get some textual content on there
