    Hi folks, I’d like to use another widget to show the featured images (category), but all WP plug-in works with the WP categories and not with the SYM image categories. So I wonder how to make other slider widget works with SYM image category?

    It seems that the regular categories from WP are used with the codex:
    post_category
    get_category
    and so on,

    What can I use to get SYM image categories instead?

    SyXtra but it does not necessarily play nicely with everything else at the moment. If you look at the bottom of my home page I have currently added a widget with Snow as the keyword (but excluded Decoration as I don’t want Christmas images), Everytime the page refreshes it gives a different set. http://stock.imagerion.com/syxtra/ – if you install it turn all the options off, then turn on one at a time till you get what you want and it does not change anything else.
