Over the months people have been modifying Symbiostock to give it new functions and tweaking things to personal tastes.
I’d like to collect the best of these modifications into one thread, if possible. I’ll be incorporating them so they are an official part of the theme.

The code for that is on GitHub if you want to grab it. This isn’t a high priority for me as I already have it 🙂
— I made widget changes for Similar and Latest images so it’d ask you for number of images (and number of columns) as a number of people had asked about changing that. Some people don’t like modifying the code, so although this isn’t a bug fix, it’d be nice to see it incorporated in the theme if that’s possible

— Lots of people have asked about changing the number of images per page in search results/category listings. Rather than changing code, how about a UI option (like for the text on the download/add to cart button) that lets the user pick?
— Sort search results by Newest, Ranking (1 2 and 3) or Random
— Remove hardwired horizontal rules from the code so formatting is entirely CSS driven
–Can you incorporate the fixes to schema.org categories that were giving structured data errors in Google’s rich snippets tool? It’d be nice also to have the changes for establishing Google Authorship (see my blog poston that). The code parts are in items 5(b) 6 and 7.

I have more small fixes that I’ll not mention unless you run out of things to do 🙂
I’d suggest you to turn it compatible with Qtranslator for multilingual sites by adding the __( ) in the echo and so on as the examples I have posted on the forums. More info about it you can check here.
I’ve done a number of php tweaks and new page templates (check out galleries) on my test page at http://www.digitalphotodreams.com. It’s going live and moved over tohttp://www.imagoborealis.com by this weekend I hope. I happily share whatever you find useful.

Things that were changed:
* Let users within the Similar Images widget decide how many images get shown
* Option to turn on/off the image release status to be shown
* Let users set the amount of images listed after image searchThose are all up there in the post of mine that Leo quoted. The only thing you mentioned that I didn’t was making it optional to show the release status (model and property) under an image. Right now, it would show N/A for both if sites did nothing to record release information when images were uploaded.
