Leo is talking about making Symbiostock cloud hosted – can anyone explain exactly what this means please?

He’s talking about making Symbiostock available the way wordpress.com or blogger.com work. You don’t need your own webspace anymore, you can use a “ready to go solution”. You’ll have your site and your images on a cloud server and do all your adjustments there.
Advantages:
You don’t have to worry about the technology (updates, maintenance, bugs etc) behind it.
It’s going to be a one size fits all solution.
Downsides:
It’s going to be a one size fits all solution.
Customization will be limited.
You’ll have to pay a fee.
Thank you Andre for the explanation, I guess I was not the only one who did not know as there were 15 views and only your answer.
So it will suit those people who like agencies as all they will have to do is a little bit of personalisation and upload their images without the customisations that the rest of us seem so fond of doing?

“Cloud” tends to be a buzzword as well. You can make it anything you want…in this case, its mostly as Christine has stated 🙂
