has anyone actually purchased this and if so are you happy with this?
November 8, 2013 at 2:16 am #7068I have it – I think because it came with the premium plugin. It’s what gets submitted to Google for indexing and my files are getting indexed. My site’s ranking is climbing.
I’m completely ignorant of SEO, so although the above seems to be reason to be happy, I could just be a woefully ignorant bunny 🙂
November 8, 2013 at 9:56 am #7069I use WordPress SEO by Joost as Symbiostock is engineered to work with it and purchased SYMBIOSTOCK – Image Sitemap from Leo as that fills in the gaps left by WordPress SEO and is specifically designed for Symbiostock

I’m even more ignorant. How do you know if your ranking is climbing or if things are getting indexed?
November 15, 2013 at 3:42 pm #7072I think people are using Alexa for rank (although this just depends how many people have it on their toolbar)
and Google Webmaster Tools to see how things are being indexed (where you submit the sitemaps to)

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtNovember 15, 2013 at 3:46 pm #7073Christine why you need the toolbar? Go to the alexa rank page and type the address to see the rank.
For images also you can have an idea of how many images are indexed (not accurated 100%) searching in google images your site.November 15, 2013 at 4:14 pm #7074I think the rank is worked out by the people who do have it in their toolbar ? I don’t, I did but I did not like how it took over so deleted it

On the indexing (which seems to have stalled in the last few days for no apparent reason)

You’ll need to verify ownership of your site (putting a file into the root and then clicking a verify button on their site is the way I chose as I didn’t want to depend on tags in a header file as that might change with theme updates).
I don’t know if Alexa rank has meaning or not, but whatever its flaws, all sites are subject to the same ones, so as a relative measure it seems of some interest. You can just go type in your web site’s URL on their home page:
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/stocksy.com
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/seanlockephotography.comNot surprisingly, Stocksy ranks higher than you do 🙂
My stats today are
Global Rank 844,705
Rank in US 146,858Cascoly has a list of all the Symbiostock sites:

You’ll see how many pages and images got indexed when you sign up to Google Webmaster Tools (after filling the meta tag you receive from GWT into the Yoast WP SEO plugin and submitting your sitemaps).
