See: http://dianajophoto.com/image/man-taking-a-photograph/
Installed Premium this morning and updated to latest (1.2.3), running the standard theme in beta 2.7.7.
Created 3 licenses Editorial, Standard and Extended. Editorial and Standard set as purchasable on all sizes w/ cost of 0. Extended set as purchasable on Large, Zip, Vector only at 50.
The page no longer displays the image sizes and costs. If I delete all the licenses it still doesn’t display the image costs.
I’m not sure the source of the problem.
Any ideas?
October 12, 2013 at 4:20 pm #4459Oh, that’s different. Did you do cost of 0 or 00.00 ? Not sure if this would have caused it to disappear. Do you still have prices in your Member Options area?
Edit: You do not have any categories either – is that missing or have you not set your header/above header navigation bars up yet?

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtOctober 12, 2013 at 4:27 pm #4460I did 0, should I have done 00.00? I still have prices in my Member Options area. Deleting the licenses seems to have no effect. I haven’t set up the nav bars…again. After having them glitch after each upgrade I figured I’d wait until I was ready to launch. 😉
October 12, 2013 at 4:38 pm #4461Yes, I think they should be 00.00 but I have no idea if this would have caused your problem – it was just the first thing that occurred.
If you are using a child theme it is advised that you turn it off to start with with 2.7.* as they can clash with the parent theme.
You should not lose your nav. bars after upgrading within 2.7.* I don’t think
Edit: Are you installing Categories Meta after each upgrade? You might not need to, need to check with Leo whether this is the basic category list for newcomers

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtOctober 12, 2013 at 4:48 pm #4462The nav bars went wonky when I updated from 2.6x to 2.7…after a few rounds I quit putting them in.
Problem sorted… somehow the default in the Batch Editor was set to “Not Live”… so when I updated all my images I turned them off… *eyeroll*
I should have made coffee not tea this morning.
October 12, 2013 at 4:54 pm #4463I have edited your heading to help others in the future that might have the same problem
Forget about tea and coffee – go straight for the Gin and Tonic (or chocolate)
Rethink – go straight for chocolate.
I added an edit to my previous post as I started it before you had posted just in case that was the nav problem – you might have to explain exactly what is going wonky as they should stay the same between 2.7* updates – they would be different between 2.6.5 and 2.7.*

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtOctober 12, 2013 at 5:06 pm #4464Thanks Christine. I’d never been prompted to install Categories Meta until I installed the Premium plug in this morning, so I *think* that is part of Premium.
If I break out the booze I’ll never get this finished…and now that I have a bunch of money invested I need to get it finished and loaded.
Discovered that if you don’t set a price or offer EL on certain sizes/options… they can still get it into their cart. 2.50 Bloggee Extended license… 🙁 So, I added prices for all the sizes. Not ideal, but it works.
October 12, 2013 at 5:10 pm #4465We need to check with Leo what that Category Meta thing is, I loaded it to have a look but am little the wiser.

I’ve got a similar problem where I have a zipped video and no price is shown, though i’m only making the zip available.
2.7.7 and 1.2.3
October 13, 2013 at 8:00 am #4467What would happen if you took one frame from the video and made it availabe as a blog size only, would havinganother, nonzipped file help?

i’d thought about that, but hadn’t had time to test — i’m afraid that then buying the ‘blog’ size wouldn’t deliver the real file the zip — Leo???
if we can get this nit fixed, then we have a workaround for people to be able to sell video clips directly

This would be really useful Leo if you could fix this please.
October 13, 2013 at 6:34 pm #4470Thanks for posting about this. I have been thinking about setting up ‘identity’ packages featuring a business card layout, letterhead, postcard design, etc and offering those for sale as zip files. It hadn’t even dawned on me that only offering a zip file could be problematic.
I figure I may as well try to maximize my potential revenue through the site…right? I’d rather get paid $5 direct and let them send it to their local print shop to have their cards and such printed at no mark-up, then get paid $2 to do all the work and have it ready for them to buy direct at a POD site. Of course, one is potentially residual and the other isn’t. Must think on that.

the zip file option had been working — i’d used it for collections before that feature was available
October 13, 2013 at 7:36 pm #4472Dumb question: Is the video file set to live?
