Hi all!
My site has been online for a couple of months now and I used to see it on the Globa Symbiostock Search but I’m no longer on the list… 🙁
What may have happened? I have updated over 3600 vectors now.
Please help me?
Thanks
March 1, 2014 at 1:50 pm #10147These files:
http://www.vectorjourney.com/symbiostock_image_info.xml
and
http://www.vectorjourney.com/symbiostock_image_info.csv
should contain info about all images, but are empty. Some people had this problem too, and the reason was one of plugins (Nextgen Gallery for example).
Disable a plugin, then go to the bottom of Symbiostock->Network, check “Update public image info” and Save.
Download above files (or have a look at them in ftp session, they are in root folder). If still empty, try with another plugin.March 1, 2014 at 9:59 pm #10148Thanks ajt but it looks like it’s not working…
I’ve disabled all plugins that didn’t come with symbiostock and tried saving it but it looks like it’s not saving…
The waiting wheel keeps spinning forever… does it take a long time to update this info or is it frozen? Thanks
March 1, 2014 at 10:18 pm #10149ouch… dunno what happened but after I reactivated the plugins my images are no longer separated in pages.
when we click a category, it just loads all images on the same page… what could have changed??March 1, 2014 at 10:37 pm #10150Also can’t acces the Edit Images part on the dashboard…
oh god… feels like I did some serious damage to my site :/March 2, 2014 at 1:28 am #10151your site looks ok now — when you click a category, you see all the images, as it’s supposed to do
but you still need to update the public image file
also, you’re at v3.0.0, so you might update to the latest version — there were a couple of minor problems that were fixed
March 2, 2014 at 11:30 am #10152Hi cascoly,
but just before trying deactivating the plugins my images were shown in several pages, not all on the same page…
March 2, 2014 at 11:39 am #10153I’ve updated the theme and I lost the customization I had made on the front page…
And still, can’t access the Edit Images pages on StockImages>>> All images menu… I get a blank page 🙁 🙁 🙁
March 2, 2014 at 11:46 am #10154This is the link that gives me blank page : http://www.vectorjourney.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=image
March 2, 2014 at 12:00 pm #10155If you have Cart Manager installed, deactivate it. This should restore pagination here:
http://www.vectorjourney.com/imageAlso try this link:
http://www.vectorjourney.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft?post_type=image
and go to “Screen options”. Maybe you have too big number in “Symbiostock Images”.March 2, 2014 at 1:01 pm #10156AWESOME!!!
Thanks a lot ajt!!! Just by deactivating cart manager it all wen back to normal. I had only 20 posts showing, so the problem was really with Cart manager
Now I gotta try getting my images back to the search engine.
Thanks a lot 😀 😀 😀

What is max_execution_time in your php settings? Sometimes default value is only 30s. Try to increase it in php.ini or in control panel of your server.
March 3, 2014 at 9:44 am #10158My host doesn’t allow me to pass 30 seconds 🙁
Do you thinks that’s why I can’t get my images indexed on the image_info?
Also when I try changing the Author Settings to all my images, I get like the first 500 hundreds changed, but the others won’t change
March 3, 2014 at 10:39 am #10159Yes, I think that time limit is the reason in both cases…
