Hi
My image thumbnails are looking very fuzzy. Where can I adjust the jpeg compression or change the thumbnail size of the Symbiostock generated thumbnails?
I already changed WordPress compression to 100% and changed the WordPress thumbnail size to make them a bit bigger than the 150px display size, but it doesn’t seem to affect the Symbiostock generated ones – they stay 150px and still look really fuzzy.
Thanks for your help!
Liz
Hi Liz
Are you using GD or Imagmagic for processing?
When you go to process uploaded images it will tell you at the top of the page. GD is fuzzier than imagemagic

I am using ImageMagick. I wonder why mine are so fuzzy? Some of the other sites I have looked at don’t look as bad.
Anything else I can try to fix it?
Hold on, my browser was zoomed in (I have a very high res screen so I zoom in a lot of the time as sites look tiny). That’s why it was so bad.
Mobile was still looking pretty fuzzy but I have now made the pics thumbnails much much smaller than I had them and it looks better now.
Thanks a million for your input. Sorry, I should have tried all of this before posting.
I just had a look myself and the site looks great! Thumbnails look ok to me.

Thanks! Can probably delete this topic. Don’t think it will be useful to anyone. 🙂
